If you wish to taste the fantastic and sophisticated elaborations of revisited cuisine, the Sorrentine Peninsularoffers an ample concentration of restaurants that have conquered a Michelin star.
Strong hold of a new culinary experience, the new tradition blends flavours and fragrances in combinations which, a number of years ago were thought impossible. Two restaurants in Sorrento (three in Campania) that have achieved a two Michelin star rating are” Don Alfonso, that with its chef Alfonso Iaccarino offers a very creative cuisine which strictly departs from raw materials and La Taverna del Capitano in Nerano with revisited seafood specialties.
Continuing along the lines of this trend, are other starred restaurants that have achieved a single star. In particular, for the lovers of fish, you cannot miss the cuisine of Gennaro Esposito in Seiano’s “Torre del Saracino”, or otherwise the delicacies of Tonino’s “Ai quattro passi” in Massa Lubrense, or even still, “Osteria Nonna Rosa” in Vico Equense. The common denominators of all these restaurants are the re-visitation of the traditional gourmet dishes and the breathtaking view of the most beautiful points of the coast.
