The long beach of Tordigliano (municipality of Vico Equense), a few distance from Positano is reachable only by sea or through a rough trail accessible by road.

Composed of circa 3 beaches, including 2 smaller and one longer, Tordigliano is one of the most beautiful beaches of the Sorrentine Peninsula both for the clarity of its water as for its wild and unspoiled nature.

To reach this beach on foot, you need to walk a trial that commences at the interruption of the guardrails of the state street Amalfitana n 163 (approximately at the km 8 indication) and proceeds to the bottom.

The location, called Tordigliano-Chiosse (photo 1), falls within the territory of Vico Equense and represents its southern boundary which is caressed by the waters of the Gulf of Salerno.

The decent, through typical Mediterranean shrub (myrtle, mastic and euphorbia), is very pleasant due to its continual change of scenery.  Once you have reached sea level, it is possible, after observing the typical local boats with traditional fishing gear, to  proceed to the beach.  From the beach, you may enjoy a splendid view of the islands of Li Galli, which seem so near.
