Recommone Beach is a beautiful beach, composed of small pebbles, that faces the Gulf of Salerno.  It is reachable by land, following a trail that commences from the right corner of the Cantone beach.

Along the trail, you encounter a watch tower that was constructed in the XV century, to defend against the constant Saracen pirate incursions which during that period used to attack the coast of the Peninsula.

For those wishing to enter the stretch of private beach, il lido offers a beach establishment, parking and restaurant, easily accessible from the principal street circa 500m before the beach of Cantone.

The restaurant is famous for its delicious seafood specialties and is recommended for all lovers of seafood cuisine.
