Meta is the only town of the Sorrentine Peninsula that boasts a comfortable sea access with an extensive beach and equipped beach establishments.

Different to the rest of the peninsula, whose territory is characterised prevalently by a rocky coast, Meta consists of a beach with a large stretch of sand where you can comfortably spend a day under the sun, choosing one of the establishments or rest in one of the free areas of the beach.

The ample space and the conformation of the beach renders it particularly adapted to families with children.

The establishments, apart from the traditional services, offer: bar, restaurant, deck chairs, sun umbrellas and cabins.  They offer also activities of varying genre: small volleyball area, games for children and others.

The only negative point is that the beach is always crowded in the months of July and August.  The beach is divided respectively in two areas:

Marina di Alimuri: the first part of the beach, in which you find the establishments: Bagni Alimuri, Golden Beach and La Conca.

The beach of Meta: the last part of the beach, situated at the end of the street, after the tunnel.  In this part, you find the establishments: Lido Marinella, Lido Metamare and Lido Resegone.
