After Sorrento, you find pleasant Massa Lubrense, the extremity of the Peninsula. Lying in front of Capri, it is a natural oasis with numerous walking trails between ancient farmhouses, archeological areas, undescribable Mediterranean panorama, the sea and enchanting beaches.
The town is less widely known than the other centres of the Peninsula and not directly affected by tourism. For this reason, it maintains a more secluded characteristic and still retains its authentic flavour and authenticity.
Nearby is the fishing village of Marina della Lobra, with its houses constructed close to the beach of the small port. Around Massa are many enchanting locations such as Termini and Nerano, the last, famous for the vast and very beautiful Marina del Cantone.
From Massa, you can proceed along the coast until you reach the extremity of the Sorrentine Peninsula, Punta della Campanella, which is in front of Capri.
