The Baia Puolo (Puolo Bay) is one of the most frequented beach locations of the Sorrentine Peninsula and is distanced only 1km from the centre of Sorrento in the Mass Lubrense direction.  The beach is constituted almost entirely by sand and lies at the foot of a fishing village where about 150 people live.

Here, the territory oozes culture.  Everywhere are elements that recall the activities of the fishermen of the area practiced for centuries.  The beach is equipped with parking at a distance of about 200m.  The last stretch of road is to be done on foot.  Only residents may travel further by car.

There are many beach establishments equipped with all the comforts and also a stretch of free beach area.  In the bay, there are excellent restaurants specialising in seafood cuisine for those who desire to try local home style cooking, made with the authentic taste of the sea

La Baia Puolo is an exciting seaside village, thanks to its sheltered position it is frequented also in winter when the water appears more clear and crystalline.  For those who stay in Sorrento, it is a place not to be missed.
