Naples offers an ample choice of sea connections to Sorrento. Every day, ferries, hydrofoils and steamers leave from both Molo Beverello or from Porto di Mergellina and serve the Sorrentine Peninsula and the Amalfi Coast.
This could be considered the fastest method of transport, reach Sorrento, taking only 30 minutes. The tickets for the Naples-Sorrento route can be acquired at the appropriate ticket office found in the vicinity of Molo Beverello di Naples or Porto di Sorrento.

This is the recommended solution for those who arrive by air, given that there is the Alibus bus line from the Naples airport which stops directly at Piazza Municipio, from which it is easy to reach Molo Beverello. The Alibus line leaves every 30 minutes.
Once you have arrived at Porto di Sorrento, there is the Circumvesuviana (yellow buses) that connects the Port with Piazza Tasso, located in the heart of Sorrento. Instead, for those who wish to take a pleasant walk, it is possible to reach the centre of Sorrento in 15 minutes, walking along an evocative street which leads directly to Piazza Tasso.
