A rich 2010 in Pompeii with the “Viva Pompei” events
Marcello Fiori, The Special Chief Manager of the emergency for the archaeological areas of Naples and Pompeii and of the Soprintendenza Speciale per i Beni Archeologici di Napoli e Pompei, introduced, at the International Tourism Exchange in Milan, a turn of events for the 2010 season in Pompeii, called “Viva Pompei”.
An intense schedule of cultural events, theatrical performances and a completely new way to live the city, started in February that will go on throughout the summer season.
“Live” archeological discoveries, multimedia tours, night walks, theme-based routes, special activities for children and kids, theatrical shows at the Teatro Grande and “The Archeoristorante”, a special restaurant where you can find the typical campanian foods and wines.
Marcello Fiori’s purpose is to give to the city a socio-cultural rebirth, with more accessible archeological sites, making Pompeii the leading edge of the Campania’s tourist package.
