Every summer, in Sant’Agnello, a few hundred metres from Sorrento, the eagerly awaited Festival of the Sea is held, dedicated in all its facets to the culture of the sea. This is an optimum opportunity to spend a pleasurable evening in the company of lovers of the sea, good food and excellent music.
The festival of the sea is a proper tribute to the sea and its traditions, which has always represented an important source for the economy and the identity of the Sorrentine territory.
The event lasts three days during which there is the possibility of tasting some typical fish based specialties cooked according to tradition and to also admire and acquire crafts related to the maritime world.
