Founded in the 2002 the cooking school “La cucina del gusto” offers a unique opportunity to immerse in the flavours and lifestyle of Sorrento and Amalfi Coast.
This Italian cooking school is situated in the charming village of Sant’Agata sui due Golfi, and nestled in the lush Sorrento countryside with panoramic views of the hills and on the Gulf of Naples.

Accommodation are provided in an ancient colonial house, now tastefully refurbished and  turned into an elegant luxury hotel . Each room has en suite bathroom with Jacuzzi, terrace or balcony and enjoys stunning views over the Mediterranean garden or the Gulf of Naples.

The school offers culinary packages compose of 4 and 6 nights and is open all year and is characterized by its use of only organic ingredients, prevalently from the estate’s surrounding garden.

The lessons are taught by Chef Carmen, who, having inherited his mother’s passion for food, ensures the continuity of the typical southern Italian culinary tradition. In each single lesson, students work together in the large kitchen  equipped with every kind of kitchen tool, and learn to prepare a full menu from main and second course to desserts.

Six days cooking vacation at “La cucina del Gusto”

This complete cooking course offer a chance to discover Amalfi Coast and Sorrento cooking and lifestyle by combining cooking lessons with guided excursions to visit some of the region’s best places such as AmalfiPompeii and Capri, local farms and wineries.

The course includes: six nights accommodations with daily breakfast, arrival and return transfer from and to Naples airport, six dinners, two lunches, wine and coffe included in the meals, Three hands-on cooking lessons and Excursions and food artisan visits.

Day One
• Short walk into Sant’ Agata to do a little exploring.
• Time to rest before your welcome dinner at the elegant “Villa Oasi” restaurant.

Day Two
• In the morning you will head to a local farm, where they have been producing top quality olive oil for years, and where the matriarch has been making mozzarella cheese.  A tasting of this wonderfully fresh and light cheese follows, with olive oil and limoncello.
• In the evening, first cooking lesson, followed by dinner with wine.

Day Three
• Visit  to Pompeii ruins by train with an English speaking local guide.
• Light lunch in a very genuine “trattoria” in Sorrento.
• Second cooking class, followed by dinner with wine.

Day Four
• Excursion to visit the marvellous Amalfi coast.
• Lunch will be on your own.
• Dinner in a charming exclusive restaurant.

Day Five
• Morning and lunch on your own.
• 5.00 pm, third cooking lesson. Dinner based on your efforts.

Day Six
• Visit to the enchanting isle of Capri.
• Lunch on your own.
• 5.30 pm Pizza course.
• Breakfast and departure from the hotel to the
Naples airport or train station
